The personal data you supply in order to electronically sign the Defund Pledge will only be stored in our secure, off-site database. We are using a server side language known as php to write to a secure database platform called MySQL which is stored on an Apache server in a data warehouse in an undisclosed location. This is the same methods used for e-commerce on smaller sites using credit card payment information, which is considered by the PCI Security Standards Council to be extremely confidential in nature.

We do not have a SSL certificate for the site because you truly are not supplying personal information that is defined as “confidential” under PCI guidelinge.
